Getting Ready for Skiing Season.

If you rent cabins for skiers who flock to the Rocky Mountain State every fall and winter it is time to prepare for the tourists.  What is the condition of your cabins?  Do they need a facelift this time of year?  Putting on the best face of your greatest commodity is vitally important to your financial survival.

Walk around your property.  Look at the condition of the outside.  Then go into each cabin and take a hard look at the interior.  How are the bathrooms, the kitchen, the general living area?  If you don’t provide all of the creature comforts to your guests this upcoming season you can be sure that someone else will!

To get tucked in and ready for the tourists you should rely on Tucco.  That’s right Tucco Home Improvements located in Colorado Springs.  Justin Tucker has devoted the last three decades of his life to remodeling.  As the Rocky’s premier cabin refurbisher he will make your resort attractive to tourists.  Call him before the snow really flies at (719) 217-7931.

Don’t Ignore Your Roof.

Unless you have done a fly by over your home you may not have noticed your roof recently.  As the seasons change your roof may take quite a beating this winter.  If you ignore the holes and missing or damaged shingles now you may end up with snow in your living room!  Now, wouldn’t that really suck?

Some things to know about preparing for roof repair –

1.  Have the right number of shingles ready to the job.
2.  Measure the length of a shingles lying across the roof.
3.  Remove any and all damaged shingles.
4.  Clean the area before the job begins.
5.  Install underlayment with a construction stapler or hammer.

That last part may have thrown you for a loop, but let’s face it…unless you’re a young healthy individual, roofing repair on a major scale is NOT a DIY job!  That job should go to a professional like Brian Tucker.  Brian is an expert roof repair and installation pro in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.  Call him for a free assessment at (719) 217-7931.
